…the service your company has given us (and our appliances) over the years. All the time, from Mr Thomas (the dad) to your present crew, we have felt confident that the service was honest, correct and courteous.

I have to admit, our experience last week exceeded the high standard to which we have become accustomed. My wife called your shop shortly after 4pm last Thursday. Joe answered, recognized our plight, and offer to immediately leave your shop to drive across town during rush hour to provide the needed service. Naturally his diagnosis was “spot-on” and the repair promptly made, but his attitude and service was beyond anything we had a right to expect.

Thank you. It is nice to be able to expect that your tradition of fine service has been passed to this next generation.

…the process of a full kitchen make-over. As part of the plan, the entry level price point appliances had to go. We planned on a moderate appliance upgrade – as we searched out appliances, we happened across Sub-Zero & Wolf. This set the benchmark as we continued our search for the perfect appliances. My wife and I are recently retired police officers, thus budget & funding was important. However, we continued to revert back to Sub-Zero & Wolf for our kitchen project. And we happily landed on the Sub-Zero refrigerator, stove top range with vent hood and microwave. And we have absolutely loved the new appliances – top notch nothing better – PERIOD!!! Fast Forward – we had a minor issue with the range. 1st call was to Sub-Zero & Wolf support line – employee Terri was very kind and helpful to point me to a Sub-Zero & Wolf approved & certified repair company – Thomas Service Company from St. Paul. Howie from Thomas Service Company was able to find a time slot for a service technician to investigate the issue we were experiencing. And a day before the scheduled appointment I was concerned about warranty coverage or not. I spoke to Jordan at Thomas Service Company – he was extremely patient and clearly understood my concern and even took time to call Terri at Sub-Zero & Wolf to get confirmation of warranty coverage. Then the day of service – Tech Brian arrived on site – and I was forewarned that he was the “Best In the Business” – he and his partner (sorry failed to recall his name) resolved the issue with new parts, no mess – unequivocally polite and simply a super star. Bottom Line – I am so thankful that my wife and I make the purchase of Sub-Zero & Wolf. Of course, without a doubt, we are loyal and outspoken supporters of Sub Zero & Wolf and Thomas Service Company.

I was informed that a new compressor would run $800.00, but these employees did everything possible to avoid the expense of a new part. …they were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. When the tech arrived he diagnosed the problem right away. He brought an evaporator with him and he was able to fix the refrigerator that same day. The tech was very professional, efficient and answered all my questions. The part was covered under warranty, but I had to pay for the labor to replace the part. The service call was $394.00 and it only took the tech one hour to complete the job. Even though this repair cost may seem high, other appliance service companies would make you pay for a service call to come out and diagnose the problem and tell you they have to order the part. They would then charge a second service call to come out and replace the part. This company was able to diagnose the problem when I first called and the tech brought the right part with him , saving me an additional service call. If you have a Sub Zero refrigerator, I would highly recommend you use this company..

…about 10a.m. in the morning and I think they were a little overwhelmed with “emergency” calls right before the long holiday weekend. He wasn’t sure if he could get to me or not & asked if he could schedule a Tuesday appt. for me. I just said to let me know if it would work or not and that I would be free after 2:00 that day if I could be fit in & if not to call me back and I would schedule a Tuesday fix. Well…at 1:50 I got a call from the repairman that he was in the neighborhood and that he was my “SubZero Hero”. Seriously, this guy was great. Quickly fixed my refrigerator, took it apart and knew exactly how to fix it & what was wrong. Within about 1/2 hour he was on his way to another fix. He wasn’t grumbling about being kept later on a Friday that he would like to head north with the rest of the vacationing people…just smiled and went on his way. Great service, and pleased to have it fixed in the same day without waiting for parts etc.!
